About the Role: Private Client Advisor
Program Overview:
The Private Client Advisor role at Bank of America is a high-touch, client-focused position responsible for acquiring new clients, deepening existing relationships, and building both internal and external networks to achieve business development goals. This role is integral to leading the Client Management Process and delivering a Branded Client Experience, ensuring that clients have access to the full suite of services offered by Bank of America Private Bank. This position requires SAFE Act registration due to involvement in residential loan mortgage originations.
Your Role
As a Private Client Advisor, you will:
- Client Process Management: Lead the Client Management Process within the client team to identify and act on new business development opportunities.
- New Client Acquisition: Source new clients while adhering to the bank's established risk appetite.
- Branded Client Experience: Guide the client team in delivering meaningful interactions that provide a consistent and branded experience for clients.
- Wealth Strategy Development: Develop a deep understanding of each client’s needs, preferences, and overall wealth strategy, ensuring that services evolve with changes in the client’s life or the business environment.
- Trusted Advisor Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects, offering integrated solutions that include wealth structuring, credit facilities, banking, and asset management.
- Digital Engagement: Promote the use and adoption of digital tools to enhance the client and team experience.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, as well as centers of influence, to expand the network and enhance client service.

Required Skills
- Experience: 10+ years of private banking or complex financial services experience, or equivalent financial services/business experience.
- Business Development: Proven ability to drive new business development for target client segments ($3MM+ in investable assets).
- Client Focus: A high-touch approach with exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong focus on client engagement and satisfaction.
- Influence and Negotiation: Ability to proactively close business deals and navigate complex negotiations.
- Team Collaboration: Skilled in identifying when to involve team specialists and effectively collaborating with other team members.
- Licensing: Series 7, 63, and 65 (or Series 7 and 66) required; candidates may obtain licenses within 90 days of start date if not already licensed.
Desired Skills
- Education: MBA or Post-Graduate Degree preferred.
- Certifications: CFP, CPA, CFA, CTFA, CFM, or JD are significant pluses.
