Cameron Chao

Cameron is a Senior at Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Business studying Finance. Coming from a non-target school in Utah without prior financial-industry experience, he learned firsthand how to navigate private banking recruiting through networking, preparation, and persistence. He spent summer 2026 with Citi in New York as an Investment Solutions Summer Analyst and will return in 2027 as a full-time Rotational Wealth Analyst.

That experience gives Cameron a particularly relevant perspective for students trying to break into private banking from non-traditional backgrounds. He now regularly mentors underclassmen through BYU's Private Banking & Wealth Management Association, helping students approach recruiting, networking, and interview preparation with greater confidence.
