About the Role: ISG Portfolio Analyst

Program Overview:

The ISG Portfolio Analyst is a key role within the Investment Solutions Group (ISG), responsible for supporting Portfolio Strategists and Advisors by preparing and delivering comprehensive portfolio analyses. The role involves identifying actionable investment ideas that align with Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM) Chief Investment Office (CIO) guidance and working proactively with Portfolio Strategists to engage Advisors based on performance, risk, and asset allocation metrics. The analyst will also play a crucial role in promoting and driving the adoption of GWIM CIO guidance through Advisor consultations and portfolio reviews.

Your Role

As an ISG Portfolio Analyst, you will:

  • Portfolio Analysis: Prepare and deliver detailed portfolio analyses to Portfolio Strategists and Advisors, ensuring alignment with GWIM CIO guidance and identifying actionable investment ideas.
  • Advisor Engagement: Collaborate with Portfolio Strategists to proactively identify and engage Advisors based on relative performance, risk, and asset allocation metrics, driving the adoption of CIO guidance.
  • Expertise in Portfolio Construction: Develop deep expertise in portfolio construction topics, including risk analytics, manager/product selection, and portfolio optimization.
  • Personalized Proposals: Utilize portfolio risk and proposal tools to create tailored proposals for specific client and prospect cases, enhancing the client experience.
  • Collaboration with Market Experts: Regularly collaborate with CIO, capital markets, and product partners across manager due diligence and alternative investments to stay informed on market trends and product updates, ensuring UHNW portfolio recommendations reflect the firm's best thinking.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-5+ years of general financial industry experience, with previous experience in portfolio construction, manager selection (traditional or alternatives), investment management, or wealth management support/sales roles.
  • Licensing: Must hold or attain Series 7 and 66 licenses within 120 days of hire.

Desired Qualifications

  • Investment Credentials: Enhanced investment credentials such as CIMA, CAIA, CPWA, or CFA are preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
