About the Role: Internal Sales Analyst - Private Wealth Solutions

Role Overview:

The Analyst in Blackstone’s Private Wealth Solutions (PWS) team will play a critical role in supporting Regional Sales Teams to develop and cultivate relationships with financial advisors within specified channels and territories. The primary goal of this role is to accelerate the adoption of Blackstone’s investment solutions by building strong relationships with new financial advisors. The Analyst will act as a subject matter expert on Blackstone’s diverse range of alternative investment products, engaging in high-quality interactions to effectively communicate the firm’s offerings.

Your Role

As an Analyst within Blackstone’s PWS team, you will:

  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Teams: Work closely with Regional Sales Teams to uncover new advisor opportunities and drive sales within assigned territories.
  • Build Advisor Relationships: Cultivate relationships with financial advisors through proactive and reactive calls, emails, follow-ups, and limited in-person territory meetings.
  • Product Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Blackstone’s sophisticated products, including fund objectives, terms, exposures, manager strategies, positioning, and performance attribution.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Take a consultative approach to profiling financial advisors, understanding their business, clients, and investment challenges, and matching them with the most appropriate Blackstone solutions.
  • Territory Planning: Work with Regional Sales Teams to establish and execute territory plans, utilizing data to optimize engagement with financial advisors.
  • CRM Management: Use the CRM system to log all client and prospect activity daily, ensuring comprehensive tracking and follow-up.
  • Leverage Data for Outreach: Collaborate with Business Development to utilize appropriate data sets for targeted outreach to financial advisors.

Your Expertise

Blackstone is seeking candidates who:

  • Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Licensing: Have FINRA Series 7 & (63/65 or 66) licenses.
  • Industry Experience: Possess 2+ years of experience, preferably in asset management, wealth management, or alternative investments.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the firm.
  • Focus and Teamwork: Demonstrate the ability to stay individually focused while also excelling in a team-driven environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experienced with web-based CRM technology, such as Salesforce.
  • Passion for Finance: Have a genuine passion for capital markets and alternative investments.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 - $125,000 annually (actual base salary will be determined based on the individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location).
  • Additional Compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the role.
